⚗️ How to Use

Turmeric — Turmeric is most easily incorporated into cooking — add ½–1 teaspoon of ground powder to curries, soups, rice, or golden milk. Golden milk (haldi doodh) is made by warming 1 cup of milk with ½ teaspoon turmeric, a pinch of black pepper, and honey. The addition of black pepper (piperine) is important as it increases curcumin absorption by up to 2000%. Turmeric can also be juiced fresh or taken as standardized curcumin capsules (500–1000 mg daily with meals). For topical anti-inflammatory use, a paste of turmeric powder and coconut oil can be applied to inflamed skin or joints.
