⚗️ How to Use

Ginseng Root — Ginseng is traditionally prepared as a slow decoction: simmer 3–9 g of whole or sliced dried root in 2–3 cups of water for 45–60 minutes and drink the liquid over the day. Korean red ginseng is commonly steeped into tea or taken as a liquid extract. Standardized capsules (200–400 mg of extract) are the most convenient modern form. Ginseng is best taken in the morning as it can be stimulating. It is recommended to use it in cycles — 4–6 weeks on, followed by a break — to avoid diminishing returns or overstimulation.

Safety & Cautions

Contraindicated in pregnancy (not recommended for use during pregnancy). May interact with medications such as blood thinners, diabetes drugs, and stimulants. Excessive use can cause side effects like insomnia, headaches, or digestive upset.
