⚗️ How to Use

Chinese Angelica Root (Dong Quai) — Dong Quai is traditionally prepared as a decoction: simmer 5–15 g of dried root slices in 2–3 cups of water for 30–45 minutes and drink the strained liquid. It is frequently used in combination herbal formulas in Traditional Chinese Medicine rather than alone. It can also be taken as a tincture or in capsule form. In Chinese cuisine, it is simmered into restorative chicken soups. It is typically used in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle for hormonal balance, under the guidance of a practitioner.
